Message: I have been getting my hair done for over 40 years and this is the best school/salon I've ever been to. I got my hair permed.. I love the diversity. Men, women -- so many of different backgrounds, all loving to work with hair. At least a few of their students are also going to college-- one in particular is going for business.. I sit down and listen to people talk as they work and I learn stuff. They are not just stylists, they're scientists. There is a lot of science in hair! Probably the best advice I have ever received on a perm was given here: "We start the chemical process and it will not be done for 2 to 3 days. Do not wash it for 2 to 3 days. " I have heard the same advice before but not delivered the same way. (Perms are expensive and I follow instructions, but this was better. ). The school doesn't look like much from the road, but inside is open and airy.. Rhiannon and Nate are currently students, they have worked on me and I very much like them, although I believe every person at this school is wonderful. The owner is on top of all the trends and ideas.. One idea: Have a link on your site to an "Amazon affiliate" and recommend that people getting perms wear a satin bonnet to bed. I have found that they help with perms staying in better shape.

Message: Great staff. I'm going for my braiders licence and the new owners are amazingly organized and clean. New flooring just went in so things are just being put away but I am enjoying my time there and learning alot. Today's team building exercise sold me. I completely had a blast for our last fifteen minutes of laughter together.

Usually my stylist and I end up going too short but she was very attentive and understanding, asked the whole time if the length would be good before she cut the next layers, and she took great care in her technique.
